LX Old Skool 36 - Combat Black

Originally dubbed 'Style 36' the Vans Old Skool has enjoyed success in the last 5 years thanks to its adoption by the fashion crowd. This model has always lived somewhat in the shadow of styles like the Era, Authentic and SK8-Hi but it has always deserved better. More substantial and sneaker-like than the boat shoe classics, the Old Skool enjoyed success with skaters a little later in the late-80s and early-90s.

This edition leans into texture and detail: a canvas upper is overlayed with mesh, while the cushioned sole keeps the shoe functional for both skating and everyday wear.
